IEP GUIDELINES
Level 1 Summary
1. These are to be completed for those students whose needs are sufficient enough to warrant Educational Assistant support.
2. The Resource Teacher takes the lead in developing the Level 1 Summary but the team should have input. (team members may include teachers, parents, principal, clinicians, consultants).
3. The Level 1 Summaries are to be completed by the first reporting in November.
4. Signatures are optional.
5. A copy of the Level 1 Summary is to be given to the Coordinator of Student Services.
Level 2 & 3 IEP’s
1. IEP’s are to be completed on all level 2 & 3 students.
2. These are to be completed by October 15.
3. The Resource Teacher takes the lead in developing the IEP but should have involvement of the team.
4. A copy of the IEP is to be given to the Coordinator of Student Services as well as selected team members.
5. The rubric form may be used although it is still part of a pilot project.
6. Signatures are required on the IEP.
